About the Cover
Cover: HeLa cells stained for the Golgi matrix protein (GM130; red), E-selectin ligand 1 (ESL-1; green) and nuclei (blue). GM130 is a tethering factor peripherally associated with the cis-Golgi. ESL-1 is a surface glycoprotein and a major ligand for E-selectin, and has been implicated in leukocyte extravasations. Trafficking of ESL-1 to the plasma membrane requires the guanine nucleotide exchange factor GBF1, which catalyses activation of two ADP-ribosylation factors (ARF1 and ARF4). See article by T.
