About the Cover
Cover: Inducible expression of constitutively-active myosin light chain kinase causes reorganization of the perijunctional actomyosin ring and tight junction. The cover image shows F-actin (green) and ZO-1 (red) at the level of tight junction in an epithelial monolayer. ZO-1 is seen as lines interrupted by fine and coarse undulations that were not present before expression of constitutively-active myosin light chain kinase. Focal separations between ZO-1 and F-actin are also apparent at some sites of extreme undulation. See article by L. Shen et al. (pp. 2095-2106).
