Fig. S1. Ptc in its native state exists in a complex with the Hh signaling components. Native 0- to 12-hour embryonic extracts run on a 7.5% non-denaturing gel and probed for Ptc, Ci, Cos2, Fu, and Sxl (A). Smo and Ptc are in complex with Hh signaling component Fu; Eve is not found in the complex (B). Owing to the size of the Hh complex most of the proteins were found in the stacking gel (A and B), except Eve, which is in the resolving gel (B); dashes demark the stacking (top) from the resolving (bottom) gel.
