Movie 2
Movies of a melanocyte dendrite in which a filopodia makes contact with a keratinocyte membrane. A melanosome can be seen moving along the filopodia towards the keratinocyte.
Movie 3
Movies of a melanocyte dendrite in which a filopodia makes multiple contacts with a keratinocyte membrane. Melanosomes can be seen moving along the filopodia towards the keratinocyte.
Movie 4
Five minutes after treatment of cells with nocodazole, melanosomes have redistributed towards the melanocyte cell body, leaving a dendrite, which appears empty. Filopodia were not affected by nocodazole treatment.
Movie 5
A movie of a melanocyte dendrite in contact with a keratinocyte. A filopodia arising from the lateral aspect of the dendrite is either attached or inserted into the keratinocyte membrane. A string of melanosomes (approximately six melanosomes) moves in single file toward the keratinocyte.
