QuickTime movie showing the DM behavior from late prometaphase to early G₁ phase. Entire chromosomes and DMs are stained with H2B-CFP (blue) and lacR-YFP (yellow), respectively. Single section, dual color images were collected at the indicated time points (minutes). Note that DMs can still be identified as paired dots in early G₁ phase cells.
