A plastic lacquer manufactured by Cellon Ltd. has been found useful for covering sections on glass slides of any size.
It takes the place of both mounting medium and coverglass and saves storage-space. The method has proved particularly valuable in mounting large series of sections and serial sections of large specimens. Its use in conjunction with bulk staining techniques is described. The lacquer is very clear and has not been found to deteriorate on the slide after several years.
