LPA₁-expressing HeLa cells were incubated in serum-free medium for 16 hours prior to a 30 minutes incubation with no lipid (Control), 10 µM LPA, 1 µM LPC, or 10 µM S1P. Note: compare 1 µM LPC-treated cells with 1 µM LPA-treated cells in Fig. 6. The cells were then fixed and processed for indirect immunofluorescence localization of LPA₁. Bar, 10 µm.
